4 Fun and Alternative Things to do in Ratchaburi Province

Dip in Bore Klueng Hot Spring
Bo Khlueng Hot Spring has 45-50 Celsius hot water all year round and is available for a private and outdoor hot spring experience. There is also natural trail for visitors to see the headwaters that originates from various small streams from Tenasserim Range for more than 150 meters for its sources.
Let yourself be awestruck from the Khao Bhin Cave
Hailed as the most beautiful cave in Ratchaburi. The cave extends 300 meters from the mouth and offers truly amazing varieties of stalactite and stalagmite formations.
The cave is located 20 kilometers from the town along the route to Amphoe Chom Bueng and two kilometers along an access road. The name Khao Bin means “flying dove”, which refers to the rock formation depicted to the right which with some fantasy resembles a flying dove. Aside from rich existence of stalactites, in the centre of the cave is a small pond that can be enjoyed with every visitors.
Wander in the beauty of Khao Ngu Stone Park
Located about 8 kilometres from Ratchaburi Province, Khao Ngu Stone Park was developed as a public park and archaeological tourist attraction with a large Buddha image in the entrance.
There is a cave in the mountains; cave of recluse Lid Cave and Chinese Cave which are not far away from each other. There are stairs for each cave and monkeys along the way.
If you are lucky and decided to stay in the area for a night, you can watch fireflies in the evening.
Discover Burmese’s Wat Khlong Suwankhiri
This temple is popular for its Burmese style Chedi of over 70 years old and 10 metres in height, which was built by a Burmese, where a beautifully standing Buddha image is enshrined with all its golden glory.
The temple is over one hundred years old and is the very first temple that was built in the province. Within the temple, there are countless Myanmar art forms and architecture which are worth paying a visit for. There is also a standing image with spectacular designs and also an incredible Bell which is adorned with cat figure engravings. The temple quarters was specially created for Buddhist monks’ consortiums.
The chedi of SuwanKiri Temple adopts Burmese architectural style which is more than 100 years old. It has a circular base elevated from ground level at approximately 80 centimetres.
This temple is registered as a national treasure in the department of Fine Arts for its beautiful designs dated back centuries ago.
