This is the literal translation of Khao Sam Roi Yot and is located about 60 miles south of Hua Hin in Thailand. The 300 peaks refer to a series of limestone hills along the Gulf of Thailand and a home a variety of ecosystems in one place.
With its limestone mountains, freshwater marshlands, coastal beaches, Khao Sam Roi Yot is home to over 300 plus species of birds and over 50 species of mammals that makes it perfect for bird watching and discovering wildlife. The national park has offshore islands and mangrove swamps that also offers shrimps fishing and cave exploration. The limestone mountains, coastal beaches, and freshwater marshlands that covers the 37% of the national park that makes it the biggest wetlands in the country.
Explore and discover Phraya Nakhon and Sai Cave
Though both cavw are possible to visit and explore, it is still mandatory to take guide from the park office for safety.
Both caves are blessed with a variety of stalagmites and stalactites but Phraya Nakhon Cave consists of two sinkholes and that illuminates when the sunlight shines on a certain angle an hour of the day that creates an amazing view over the pavilion.
Drown in the beauty in Khao Daeng Viewpoint
This viewpoint in the national park is approximately 157 m high and 700 meters from an isolated limestone hill that will definitely give every visitors with 360° clear visibility over the surrounding mountains and valleys and mountains. It’s relatively easy and clear to see the trail up in the viewpoint, though very rocky, but no risk of getting lost.
Take a boat trip ride to Khao Daeng Canal
Most visitors prefer to go on a boat tour around sunset and that takes for one hour through the mangrove forest in Ban Khao Daeng village that is 1.5km from the HQ.
