Stroll around the Historic Bridge of River Kwai
Also known as the bridge in the Death Railway, it has been popularized by the movie, The Bridge on the River Kwai in 1957 film by the French novelist Pierre Boulle. It was constructed by the Japanese during World War II as the Burma Railway between Thailand and Burma. The project came at such a cost of human life where the Allied of POWs forced to assist building the Death Railway. Only the outer ends of the first bridge remain; the rest was bombed by Allied forces in 1945 but the bridge is still impressive even today.
Explore the beauty of Erawan National Park

The Safari Park in Kanchanaburi is an open zoo nestled in a vast natural landscape which houses camels, tigers, leopard, lions, elephants, parrots, deer, zebras, giraffe, flamingo, ostrich, llamas, and a wide variety of different species waiting for you to witness and interact with — 28 kilometres away from the city.
Most of the animals living here have been rescued, and are now well taken care of by park volunteers and animal experts. If you are very fond of big cats, we highly recommend you to spend half a day here, learning about them, and interacting with them up close.
