Where To Go For New Year’s In Bangkok
2020 is soon upon us and what better city to celebrate it in than Bangkok? A city with one of the most vibrant nightlives in the world. Count down the remaining seconds of this year on top of the city with a drink in your hand or on a night cruise down the Chao Phraya River. ICONSIAM – BEST FIRE WORK DISPLAY IN BANGKOK
This year ICONSIAM is hosting an event of amazing display of fireworks. If you’re the type that likes to celebrate with a bang, this is for you! 7 acts of fireworks will represent the concept “Seven Wonders of Blessings”, illustrating the rich heritage of Thai History, the kingdom’s prosperity, religion, monarchy, the nation and the agricultural abundance. It also pays respect to the royal institution that has overseen the people’s happiness for a long time.
If you can’t make it to ICONSIAM, don’t fret for there are many places you can see the fireworks from. For example most hotels in the Riverside area, Asiatique, Charoenkrung Creative District and other places nearby.

RCA BANGKOK
If you are just looking for a classic New Year’s celebration with drinks and loud music, RCA is the district you should go. The nightlife complex reaches down from Rama 9 to Petchaburi, with many nightclubs, pubs and bars for you to drink and party in. Don’t forget your ID, because RCA is quite strict about it. You’ll receive a stamp on your hand when you enter so you can walk in and out as you wish throughout the night. The crowd is young and lively, and it is a great party spot for the New Year’s.
DINNER CRUISE
If a more slowed down and romantic approach is what you are looking for this New Year’s, then you can never go wrong with a dinner cruise down the Chao Phraya River. A buffet dinner with live music and the prettiest lights in the city. Relax on deck and feel the river breeze with a glass of wine with the person you love and enjoy the new year with class.
