The beaches of Koh Samet
Koh Samet’s beaches in the province of Rayong in the eastern gulf of Thailand are out of the ordinary. They can take your breath away and bring you to feel serene admiration. When you come to Thailand, spending time in any of them will surely make you come again.
Hat Sai Kaew
This beach is also known as the Diamond Beach. It is one of the most popular beaches all of Rayong. It is 780 meters long with white sand and clear blue-green waters. The place is like paradise.
It is a perfect place for family gatherings and private celebrations like wedding. There are little people and activities here, that’s why a vacation at Hat Sai Kaew can be so relaxing.
Ao Prao
Located in the west coast of Koh Samet, Ao Prao beach is very inviting. It is 200 meters long with peaceful clear waters and exceptional striking sunset that will be etched in your memory.
Sunsets here on clear nights are treasures. Ao Prao beach is a world class destination with few deluxe hotels.
Ao Vong Duan
This is the second-longest beach in Koh Samet and is 500 meters long with white sand. It is shaped like a crescent moon and fantastically, the sun rises here with great show-off and magnificence.
Friends, couples or families can enjoy strolling on the shore as the sun rises and have their dose of Vitamin D. There are some first class foreign and Thai restaurants that offer delicious seafood on the beach.
Ao Phai
A small but attractive 400-meter white sand beach, Ao Phai is a nice place for get-away couples. There are several cheap hotels and some restaurants that offer exclusive seafood. The rocky outcrop that separates Ao Phai from Hat Sai Kaew is a romantic place for a date and dining.
Ao Phut Sa
Do you want to relax and spend some time alone? Or do you want to go to a smaller beach that can keep you humming your favorite song? Ao Phut Sa beach is the answer. A small bay with white fine sand and clear blue waters, tourists can have the utmost in recreation.
Ao Prakang
This beach in Koh Samet offers guests with a touch of the local people. Visitors will discover the life and tradition of the villagers. There are small restaurants that offer fresh sea food and varied delicacies.
Other Koh Samet beaches are Ao Tubtim, Ao Luk Yon, Ao Noi na, Ao Wai, Ao cho, and Ao Klew Na Nok.
