This is the top venue for live music in the city with daily live performances from Thai bands playing anything from rock, ska and electro-funk to jazz and heavy metal. With its vintage décor and a warehouse feel, this is the perfect venue for a fun evening out with friends.
Saxophone Pub &Restaurant
Conveniently located next to Victory Monument BTS, Saxophone is arguably one the best jazz & blues venues in Bangkok. Live performances take place every night of the week with residencies by well-known Thai artists such as Koh Mr. Saxman, T-Bone Band and many more. Besides music the venue has a pool table and serves a variety of Thai food, snacks and cocktails.
The Rock Pub
With an exterior resembling a mock gothic castle, this Ratchatewi venue rocksout with nightly performances from rock and heavy metal bands. Between them the regular house bands will cover most sub genres from hard rock to punk, grunge, 80’s hair metal and more. The décor inside is surprisingly cosy, with friendly and suitably loud music complementing the experience.
Brick Bar
This fun-loving Banglamphu bar hosts Thai bands playing cheerful, ska-type rock music which often gets the crowd dancing on the tables. The brick-walled basement bar is spacious with plenty of seating options, although it gets very busy with a young, mostly Thai crowd at weekends.
