Seenspace Thonglor

Seenspace Thonglor is a great place to kill a whole evening’s worth of drinking and dining. I mentioned the Fatr Gutz pub in the blog, but my trip to Thonglor did not stop there, though perhaps it would have been far better for my monthly budget if it had.

Because, as is so often my habit once I’ve already enjoyed a few very nice drinks, I decided to enjoy a few more. Maybe you can relate. So I couldn’t help but notice a sign towards the back of the pavilion with lettering announcing quite proudly that behind it, if I should care to have a look, I would find a tap room with more tapped kegs than a row of fraternity houses during rush week.

I did decide to have a look and tore into several different ciders, all of which had the strange effect of first creating and then nurturing a craving for greasy foods like sausage and pizza. I soldiered on for a while though, not letting myself be pulled away by hunger prematurely I valiantly giggled and hiccuped my way through a few more pints of beers from bitter to bright and black to pale whose names I don’t think I could remember if you put them in front of me and pointed at them. By this time the craving and become more of a ravenous gnawing and I ceded, stumbling back out to find something sufficiently greasy to settle my contemptuous stomach and a bathroom. Not necessarily in that order.

Fortunately, thanks to neon signage, I didn’t have to expend to much mental or physical energy (both in dangerously low supply at that point) finding it….
