Visit Long Neck Karen Community
One of the most interesting tribes in Thailand are called the Long-Necked Karen. This tribe are living in a village near Chonburi and are originally came from Burma to the northwest and are famed for their extended necks, which are elongated using a system of gold rings from birth.

Enjoy the Safari feel at Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Sriracha
This zoo is definitely worth a visit if you are already in the area. The zoo is located at the base of Khiew Mountain, and houses over 300 animal species in open enclosures. This Open Zoo is very similar to the other notable zoos around the world and Southeast Asia. Night safaris are highly recommended and can be easily organized.

Be amazed at Viharna Sien Temple
The ancient Chinese temple of Viharna Sien houses a uniquely Chinese art collection that you cannot find anywhere else in the world. This includes a collection of fine Chinese pottery from dynasties as old as 3,000 years and some artifacts that are unique on its own.
Get Lost in Wat Yansangwararam
The huge temple complex of Wat Yansangwararam is located about 20 kilometers south of Pattaya, with an area of 145 acres. The main building was constructed in 1976 to honor the head of the Thai Monastic Order. Fortunately, the Wat Yansangwararam and the Chinese temple of Viharna Sien can be visited together since there are in the same vicinity with adjoining pathway.
Buddha Mountain (Khao Chi Chan Buddha)
No Chonburi visit is a complete without visiting the 130-meter-high Buddha Mountain which is one of the most noticeable landmarks in the region. Even visible to anyone from miles away from where you are sitting.
In 1996, the image was originally created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the reign on the throne of Thailand King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The huge image was inlaid with gold leaf andcarved using laser technology. Khao Chi Chan Buddha also has some beautifully landscaped gardens and lotus pools, giving an air of tranquility to the place.
